Brighter Tomorrow Foundation (BTF) is a non-profit, non-political organization based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, dedicated to suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and emotional support for individuals in distress. Established in response to a personal tragedy in 2014, when the founder president lost two beloved children to suicide due to emotional torture by their surroundings, BTF was born out of deep grief, love, and a commitment to prevent such painful losses in other families.

Our Mission

We strive to make life meaningful again for those who have lost the joy of living. We work to prevent suicide, reduce suicidal tendencies, and offer emotional, social, and psychological support to vulnerable individuals through counseling, community programs, awareness campaigns, and research.

Our Vision

A world where every life is valued, mental health is prioritized, and suicide is no longer seen as the only escape from pain. We dream of a brighter tomorrow where no one suffers in silence and everyone finds hope, healing, and a reason to live.

What We Do

  • Counseling and Support: We organize counseling sessions and healing programs to help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.
  • Awareness Campaigns: Through educational, creative, and culturally engaging events, we help the public better understand mental health and how to support those in crisis.
  • Research and Advocacy: BTF supports national and international research on suicide, mental health, and the impact of culture, religion, gender, and socio-economic factors on suicidal behavior.
  • Global Collaboration: We aim to build a global platform by sharing resources and strategies, and contributing to international conversations on suicide prevention.
  • Volunteer and Community Engagement: We provide space for psychologists, researchers, social workers, suicide survivors, celebrities, and volunteers to collaborate and contribute to life-saving work.

Special Initiatives

BTF places special focus on:

  • Clusters and Contagion in Suicidal Behavior: Sharing international research and strategies to understand and prevent the spread of suicidal tendencies within communities or social groups.
  • Culture and Suicide: Exploring the complex role of cultural, spiritual, and social issues in suicide and creating culturally sensitive prevention strategies.
  • Events and Outreach: Hosting workshops, seminars, and therapeutic events to uplift hearts and offer healing moments for those in emotional distress.

Our Commitment

Behind every suicide is a story of pain. At BTF, we understand how sensitive souls can lose balance when tortured by their surroundings. Through our presence, we aim to enliven those who have lost the charm of life. We believe that mental health support should be accessible, compassionate, and effective.
